ALL ABOUT NATE WARD AND THE MERCENARIES

Surrounded by a community of musical talents in the vibrant central Ohio music scene, Nate Ward sought to start a new project with an old group of friends. Leaving his background in alternative rock, he carved his own path down a country road in 2021 and Nate Ward and the Mercenaries was formed. With influences from Sturgill Simpson, Keith Whitley, and Tyler Childers, they have cultivated their own distinct sound.

Dynamic melodies are paired with meaningful lyrics that tell a story of struggle, love, and heartache. Powerful solos shine through catchy rhythms that pull it all together. The bass effortlessly links the melody and drums together with both classic and alternative country rhythms. The drums power the heart of the band with a solid presence that is hard to go unnoticed.

From an urban garden to a packed city country venue, to rural laid-back bars, Nate Ward and the Mercenaries enjoys sharing their music with anyone who wants to hear it. They are currently in the process of recording a few singles, which will be released in mid-to-late 2022.
